What We’re Looking For

    MINDDRIVE’s after school programs are free and open to all high-school students. A desire to learn and contribute to a team is all that is required.

    Friends.

    We become very close and build trust working along side each other for the 24 weeks of the program.

    Problem-solvers.
    The path to success and completion may have many routes. Thinking outside the box is the foundation we stand on.

Mentor

The core of our program are the community members who work with students on current, environmentally critical projects. Our goal is to keep a one mentor to two students ratio.

Volunteer

Whether you are looking for an on-going commitment or a short-term opportunity, volunteering with MINDDRIVE will always be a rewarding experience.

OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

  • 01

    Become an ambassador.
    Join an elite club of volunteers that commit to bring 6 prospective supporters to tour MINDDRIVE and attend 2-4 Ambassador events each year.

  • 02

    Event staff.
    We have several community events during the year and could always use some extra help. FutureFest, Kansas City Auto Show and the MINDDRIVE Art Garage just to name a few.

  • 03

    Join a committee.
    We have several committees that support MINDDRIVE through a variety of activities and initiatives, from fundraising to event planning.

  • 04

    School partners.
    Do you work in education or community engagement? We’d like to partner with you, to expand the network of programs available to students of Kansas City.

What We’re Looking For

    Individual Gifts. Sponsoring a student, a specific project or just an annual gift, individual contributions combine to be a driving force in our development.

    Corporate Sponsorship. This is a great way to engage your company in meaningful work and give back to your community.

    Tour Sponsor. Our annual trip is an opportunity to get a lot of people’s attention and to join in our conversation around the successes of our students each year.

MINDFULL

We began a program of support that provides nourishing meals for the students and mentors of MINDDRIVE. We need help feeding and serving nearly 80 people each Saturday from October to May excluding holidays and breaks.

What We’re Looking For

    Donate dinner on one Wednesay for 50 people and you will be added to our “preferred vendors” list.

  • 02

    Donate a tax-deductible contribution of $500 to become a sponsor of MINDFULL.

  • 03

    Gather your friends and create a meal for MINDDRIVE! If you can master the quantity of food to serve 70 hungry students and mentors a nutritious breakfast or lunch, please do!
