Become A Mentor.

Mentoring young people is one of the most rewarding experiences you will ever have. There are no pre-requisities, specific skills, or prior training needed to be a good one. Our projects provide a unique opportunity to work alongside students to solve problems, demonstrate resolve, fail, and experience success. The most valuable behavior we can demonstrate for our students is how to cope with failure. How to pick up the pieces and keep going, take a different path or approach, and find the solution.

Step One

Step Two

After you've submitted your application a member of the MINDDRIVE team will let you know your application has been recieved and reach out to you to schedule a visit and a tour. Because of the nature of what we do and who we serve, MINDDRIVE will conduct a background check. We will explain this process during your visit and answer any questions you may have.

Step Three

After your background check is approved, we will contact you to schedule your orientation and welcome you to the team!

Frequently Asked Quesions

Nope. A strong desire to help young people and an appreciation for the projects we work on is all that is required. We will help you learn how to mentor, build, weld, solder, design, use Adobe, etc. Actually, a lot of our mentors join in order to learn how to do what we do. That is a great reason. Often there are no manuals or guidebooks to help us with our projects anyways. Therefore, we are looking for people who love a challenge, enjoy trying new things, and are not afraid to fail.
